Day 1: I woke up on the first day and started with some water, after which I took my ginger shot. It was spicy! But it gave me a good kick to start the day. After that, I had a juice every 2 hours, which was manageable, but around mealtime, I started to get hungry. I had such a strong urge to chew on something that I ended up chewing on toothpicks, haha.
Day 2: I started this day with less energy. I noticed that my body was really busy removing all the toxins. Because of this, I had much less energy throughout the day and decided, according to the advice from Juice Brothers, to drink my Vanilla Sky earlier and only half of it. I noticed that this worked because it gave me a bit more energy to get through the day. Normally, I work out intensively at the gym, but during the cleanse, I opted for restorative yoga, which was very pleasant to end my day with.
Day 3: The last day, but also the hardest day. I started, as in the previous days, with a ginger shot, followed by the Master Cleanse a little later. The urge to chew on something had fortunately subsided a bit, but I still had the need for solid food. On this day, I had a juice every 2 hours again, with plenty of water and tea in between. I didn’t feel hungry during the entire cleanse because my body was continuously occupied and felt well-filled. I was looking forward to being able to eat again after today, but I’m very satisfied with the effect of the cleanse. I’m more inclined to eat healthy food, appreciate food more, and feel that my body has undergone a good cleanse.
